Funkanomics (GERMANY – Adapted/Ghetto Funk)

https://www.facebook.com/funkanomics

Funkanomics are three bassmusic heads from the south of Germany, who like to bring their own style to their music. A sound that is designed for the dance floor and made up
of beautiful crunchy basslines, coupled with pumping grooves.
They have made waves over the past years with some impressive tours and performing in more than 10 different countries. The boys are also widely recognized in their own backyard of southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where they hold down numerous club gigs. The Trio was a lucky invitee to headline the benchmark Canadian Festival “Shambhala” on Fractal Forest stage alongside the world’s best nu-funk spectrum of DJs and Producers. They also were guests at the awesome Fusion Festival in Germany over the 2012 summer.
Looking at their beloved mixes and releases on labels like Ghetto Funk, Jalapeno, Milk&Sugar, Fort Minor Knox Recordings, Manmade and many more, these guys have the musical formula that is guaranteed to get any party pumping, not confined to one genre. Their unique, quick, cross-genre mixing style, funked up in their very own way will be performed on 4 Turntables, 2 Mixers and 1 live interface

Perkulat0r

https://facebook.com/perkulat0r
Perkulat0r first started playing music as a heavy metal guitarist in his early teens. As a young 16 year old he was snuck into bars to shred well before he was legally allowed. This passion crossed over to electronic music when he was first exposed to the sound of Dubstep and other heavy bass electronic genres. After DJing for a couple years, he turned his attention towards creating his own sound which was more melodic but still bass heavy. His production is a combination of Glitch/Funk/Future/HipHop and the newly developing sound that Perk and other producers like to call “Purple”. The past few months have led to increased exposure with his first break being a winner of Minnesotas Stardust Redux remix contest which gave him an official spot on the Stardust Redux Remix EP and has 67,000+ listens on Minnesotas Soundcloud. Since then he has been gaining more and more attention with his free releases and he is currently waiting for an EP of his to be released on Gravitas Recordings in late Feb to Early March. Rapidly gaining a name for himself locally in affiliation with his crew Wetcoast, Perkulat0r has already been gaining lots of interest in Canada and the US as he gets ready to embark on his first tour in the spring.
